The A-Z Glossary was initiated, mainly developed, compiled and is actively maintained to serve as an exploration tool to deal with questions, problems, materials and content relevant for optimal self-actualization. The A-Z Glossary is available to facilitators, locksmiths, coaches and clients alike.

The main idea behind and foundation (i.e. the vision statement) of the A-Z Glossary is transparency, individualization, customization, up to date and current information to reflect the many rapid changes of our current modern society. Achieving the stated vision isn't easy, however the A-Z Glossary mission statement give rise to the following objectives, which translates - in Glossary terms - into the following features...

  1. Access to older revisions of Glossary materials and contents which makes the monitoring and evaluation of relevancy and applicability for current times possible.
  2. The manage subscriptions tab provide individuals the facility to select, subscribe to and manage the change notifications of the materials and contents that they deem as important to remain informed of possible changes.
  3. The Create a Book option allows for the selection of materials and contents, for a particular context, to be exported as an electronic book (i.e. pdf-format) that can then be used for discussions and/or serve as reference or guidelines for further investigations and/or explorations.
  4. Availability of a navigation box for assistance to navigate the basic structure of the Glossary.
  5. A search box to search for and listing the pages (i.e. materials and content) on which the search term appears.
  6. What links here is an option to determine what pages link-back to this specific page, indicating the different perspectives/contexts that relates to this page content or material.
  7. Merged with the link-back function, there is also word & tag clouds which provide another way of determining possible significance of glossary contents and materials.
  8. Site index is a feature that list all available glossary pages alphabetically grouped under the different Glossary categories.
  9. Ability to create a printable version of available pages, that can be downloaded to print or use in a word processing application.
  10. To easily cite the article (i.e. content or material) to use as a references when compiling documentation, one can make use of the Cite this article option.
  11. The Recent Changes options, provide access to a list of all recent Glossary changes made and to which people can also subscribe using the RSS-feed function.
  12. Above the page content there is a breadcrumb which indicate the "place" of the page in terms of the Glossary structure and serve as an indication of "You are here...".
  13. Below the page content is a trace of pages opened during the session.
Manifesting the vision statement (i.e. goal) of the A-Z Glossary isn't easily obtained nor maintained, but the above listed mission-driven functions and features (i.e. objectives) at least is workable-feasible options and brings the Glossary closer to achieve its ultimate goal.
